Please feel free to make additions to this document. Please make sure that these are in another colour and that you put you name to the colour or comment to avoid confusion.
- Mick and Parnell to contact companies for company information, e.g. size, turnover, no. of employees, growth prospects.
- Diana, Calvin and Maria to conduct research into relevant statistics.
- Diana: Perhaps you could look into organic product adoption in the European Union, especially focussing on the UK, which is most similar in disposition and culture to Australia.
- Calvin and Maria: Perhaps you could research organic product adoption in the USA.
- A starting point for adoption research would be http://www.ota.com/organic/mt/business.html, which might give you some ideas about further sites to visit.
- All of us: Research Australian organic uptake trends. Try to find statistics where possible.
- We should all be mining the ABS and the Productivity Commission for as much relevant data as we can. The emphasis here is on DATA, not on their conclusions (though we should make a note of these). However if we can collect and collate the data ourselves, we might find we come to some more interesting objective conclusions.
